I would agree with Faizal's observations. Nobody cares about cameras in New York. I also live there and shoot in all kinds of neighborhoods but I'm pretty much invisible. I'm only ever hassled by security guards! As for shooting for yourself, not a specific audience, Faizal's right on the money there as well. And I always take my camera everywhere I go!

I'm glad there was a part two. Faizal is one of my favorite YT cinematographers who happens to take amazing photos. Love this series that you're doing with other photographers.

You can tell you are real friends because the interview is more relaxed. If it was a rare guest you would expect deep, rehearsed and insightful answers. I like how chill it was and it shows you just enjoy being out with friends and a camera!

So interesting. I always found rangefinder easier for shooting in portrait. You can also wear a hat and hold the camera to your eye easier.

Finally a channel that ventilates some sense with good arguments. Shoot for yourself where as others only look at the views and comments after they published their YT video and change the next video to please the crowd. Carry on guys. 🎉

Get the excellent Smallrig grip. Cheap and feels great. Took 1k + shots with it and a thumb grip on a recent trip. XT50 isn’t water resistant. XT-5 is bigger and heavier. With the new standard zoom it’s also £2049. The new zoom is far better than the older 2 kit zooms, based on test results. I guess the new XT50 is the better VFM overall but it’s not made of metal. In essence, the X100VI is a travel and city shooter’s main camera and/or second light system. My main system is FF Canon DSLR 5D mk 3 and L lenses. Different class, price bracket and weight…… If I was off on a world trip I guess the new OM1 and matching pro zoom lens offers the optimum build, weight and quality. Although it’s a smaller sensor it does clever stitching in camera to give very large images. It’s also the best water resistant grading.

I have definitely, never, ever: 1. Bought a camera bag that wasn’t very good as a camera bag, and was even worse as just a bag. 2. Used a UV filter because that’s what you’re supposed to do. 3. Fought with a Gorilla Pod for ages, not liked the results given the amount of effort, then cursed at trying to pack it away again. I’ve never bought a mist filter though. 1 out of 4 - must try harder 😂 As a follow up to the UV filter thing - just use the hood! Seeing people with a cheap filter on the front of a decent lens, that also has the hood still fitted backwards getting in the way of the zoom and/or MF rings really saddens me!

Great Video! I personally own the 55-140 and it’s a great lens. And I probably get the 8-16 some time. But instead of the 18-55 I bought the sigma 18-50mm f2.8. I am really happy with the lens in terms of image quality, functionality and size, but i would really like to get my hands on a 18-55 to do some comparison with the two lenses.

Horrible photo Composition.

The Sony cameras have the worst ergonomics. My hands would get cramps whenever I tried these cameras. The X-H2 and X-H2s have excellent ergonomics and these cameras are not that bulky. My Nikon Z9 is bulky!
